Questions/ Comments/ Concerns?
Hey Guys!

This is just a quick update because I've been revamping the community up a bit and I realize I need one of these entries!!

So basically, this shall be my entry for any general questions, comments or concerns you may have for me. I shall link this entry in the sidebar for future use. Thanks!

P.S. Expect a small batch of icons soon! (like either tonight or tomorrow sometime)

I love animated icons. You have made some in the past. I was wondering if you plan to make more of these in the future?

Well, animated icons are hard to make, I don't really think Im all that good at them. So therefore, they kinda been put on the bottom of my to-do list. They're still on the to-do list, they're just at the bottom.

But I should have lots of time over the summer to icon, so I might do some then!

Hey I am still new to LJ and I am having difficulties understanding some parts. For example I wonder how you change your "headers", as you call them? Do I have to have a paid account or not?? Would be glad if you could help.
Roxannesun_star_n_moon on August 10th, 2010 04:07 pm (UTC)
Totally understandable. It took me awhile on Lj before I figured this stuff out myself as well. And any account level works. =D

There are several ways you can do headers. I wrote a tutorial about two different ways you can do it. The simpler method is probably the one at the bottom. However, If you're going to do method 1, I highly suggest using a layout from
scholarslayouts (but you dont have too) since her layouts are beautiful and really simple. (Its what I generally use as layouts here and at my personal journal)

Anyways, here's the tutorial! I hope it helps!

Method 1 didn't work for me but nr 2 did. flexible squares rocks!! XD Sorry are so happy that I can finally have something nice on my journal.

Thank you for your help

It looks like method 1 did work for you though? Now If you wanted to put one of my headers (you dont have to of course) just swap this url in the code:

with the url of one of my headers.

(the find and replace tool on word works wonderfully for this kind of stuff)

Hey there!

I wanted to say that I'm a HUGE fan of your graphics. I really love them. :)

You say in your entries that it's ok to alter your images. I just wanted to double check that I could add text to a header or something that you've made to make it more personal. Are you sure that would be ok? I will definitely credit you!

Roxannesun_star_n_moon on June 29th, 2012 03:04 am (UTC)
Oh yeah. Any sort of alterations is fine with me.

Really the only thing I hate is when people outright steal my stuff and claim it as their own.

So, as long as you don't do that, you're fine.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

And don't worry - I would never do that! I always try my best to credit :)
